The Berbère Palace is deeply intertwined with the history of international cinema. Since the 1990s, it has served as the basecamp for some of the world’s most iconic film productions shot in Ouarzazate.

Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Astérix & Obélix, Babel, Prince of Persia… All have found more than just a backdrop here. They found a true home.

Directors, actors, and entire crews stayed for weeks, often months, during filming, post-production, or in between scenes. They discovered a haven of comfort, serenity, and a unique atmosphere perfect for collaboration and celebration.
